Throw The Drummer Down The Well was written and recorded October through December of 2009. It marks a step away from the semi-improvised electronic sounds of the first record, and a step towards, well, something. Possibly the gutter. One of the goals in making this album was to try and create something that was, at least tangentially, pop music, without the use of traditional melodic instruments. However, we must admit to two lapses in self-restraint. Can you spot them?
This album is available in a slightly remixed version, with a bonus track, on cassette, released by the fine folks at Palace of The Golden Cassette.
